Merry Christmas! We are kicking off the celebrations with our little Christmas morning today just the three (and a half) of us. I have been especially busy this year since I’m working and I helped with our school Christmas musical. Everything didn’t happen on the exact timeline I wanted, but I’m so thankful to be able to spend the next 15 days with my girl. She has been so excited about Santa filling her stocking, and I think that is where we have landed on the Santa thing. He fills the stocking, gives a small “toy,” and mom and dad do everything else. I know there are a whole lot of opinions on this subject, but it has been fun to experience Naomi actually “getting” Santa. We will be traveling to Houston, Dallas, and Seattle over the next week or so, and are looking forward to seeing some of our most favorite people.
The week after Thanksgiving we had some family pictures taken and I wanted to share some of them! Our friend Carolann took them and she did a beautiful job! If you are in the hill country area you should definitely take a look at her website and bookmark it for your future needs!
From our family to yours we wish you Happy Holidays! We hope your season and celebrations are full of laughter, love, and peace. We also pray that you remember those who will not have peace this year. From Aleppo to the streets of our own cities, our hearts are with them.
