Back in October we took one last trip to the city before our move to TX. We had a wonderful time as a family of three and it was great to get away before the chaos of moving across the country.
^We spent our first morning in Brooklyn. I don’t think there is a more perfect view of Manhattan.
^Naomi had never seen a pigeon before and it was hilarious! She would follow them around, squat down, and then look back at me and giggle.
^During our second day we enjoyed exploring central park with Naomi Bea. She also rode her first carousel, which totally overwhelmed her.
Joe and I also managed to have two date nights, and ate some delicious food and drank some delicious wine at Wildair and Rebelle. I still can’t think about NYC (or DC obviously) without feeling a deep ache and longing. Life in San Antonio gets better everyday, and when I’m ready and it’s a little less raw I’ll share more about our move. We know we made the right decision, it was just a hard one. Our house seems to be coming together and I look forward to sharing some pictures soon, especially when it is all decked out for Christmas.
Have a great week!
